The Saint-Laurent-des-Eaux Nuclear Power Plant (41), like all EDF nuclear power plants in operation, will be carrying out numerous anchoring and support controls in the coming months and years in all industrial buildings.
On this site, Ekium is providing project management assistance on behalf of the SMC (Service Mécanique Chaudronnerie) methods department.
In order to understand the EDF requirements and referentials, we organized two days of training for our teams (project managers, method preparers) on the theme of fundamental anchors. The objective: to ensure an increase in competence in the performance of anchoring controls and their compliance.
Delivered by NORDON, the content of the training was created by the Syndicat National de la Chaudronnerie, Tuyauterie et Maintenance industrielle (National Union of Boilermaking, Piping and Industrial Maintenance).
New sessions will take place soon and will allow a greater number of our teams to intervene later on projects related to this theme.
