ACC – Automative Cells Company, created in 2020 by SAFT, PSA and OPEL, contributes to the fight against global warming by positioning itself as a key player in the battery industry to equip high-performance, low-carbon electric vehicles accessible to the greatest number. On May 31, the joint venture inaugurated its production plant for battery cells and modules for electric vehicles, at Douvrin.
Gigafactory : towards a sustainable mobility accessible to all
This first Gigafactory includes over 60,000m2 of workshops. At the time, Ekium was entrusted with a major project management contract for the construction of the first 13GWh production unit.
