Meeting with Club Synergia by Otrera at Ekium

We were pleased to host another meeting of the Synergia Club at our Lyon offices. The Synergia Club is an initiative launched by OTRERA to bring its partners together around a shared goal: to grow a major industrial project together.

OTRERA is a French deep-tech company that develops sodium-cooled Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), enabling the simultaneous production of electricity and heat at competitive rates. Selected as part of the “France 2030” program and awarded the “Greentech Innovation” label, the company is shaping the future of sustainable nuclear energy in France and beyond.

Because an industrial project is not built solely on technology, the Synergia Club fosters dialogue among partners on all topics that contribute to its development.

In particular, this meeting provided an opportunity to review OTRERA’s latest progress (funding, launch of the Detailed Preliminary Design, industrial roadmap), share feedback on recent joint initiatives (Nordic Nuclear Forum, VivaTech, Club Synergia, etc.) and to prepare for upcoming events, notably the World Nuclear Exhibition and Global 2027.

Participants also had the opportunity to explore the OTRERA reactor through a demonstration of its immersive, full-scale virtual reality experience.
